Celebrating the work of the acclaimed impressionist Paul Gauguin’s exotic portraits, the afternoon tea features delicate finger sandwiches including smoked salmon, horseradish and crème fraiche; cucumber and cream cheese; egg and mayo; and ham, while freshly baked scones are served with clotted cream and Peyton and Byrne’s signature preserves. Playing on Gauguin’s bright colour palette, new vibrant fruit-based patisserie from a pistachio and raspberry layer cake; raspberry macaroon; and passion fruit tart; sit alongside mini Victoria sponge and carrot cake for the perfect sweet ending. Aromatic and flavourful teas such as wild berries and Gardenia complete the offering.
