Brown's Hotel is a landmark amongst hotels in London, being one of the capitals very first and Afternoon Tea at Brown's Hotel is probably one of the most traditional. Awarded with the Top London Afternoon Tea 2009 accolade by The Tea Guild, Afternoon Tea at Brown's Hotel is the perfect ambassador for what is considered as the most quintessential of British traditions.
Held in the beautiful English Tea Room, the setting is simply timeless and absolutely perfect. Stunning wood panelling, ornate ceilings and a splendid baby piano take you back to a bygone era. The traditional Afternoon Tea is served just as it should be with sparkling silver tiered stands displaying delicate freshly cut finger sandwiches, an assortment of delicious pastries and the most delectable freshly baked scones complete with strawberry preserve and clotted cream.
Children 0-3 years old have free a-tea, and then from 3 to 11 years have half price which is £24.50 in the Private Dining rooms and £22.50 in our English Tea Room. We can also make the Afternoon Tea bespoke for children individually, so we can arrange plain sandwich fillings, with gingerbread men and cupcakes instead of the intricate pastries that we usually serve.
