The Berkeley London designer afternoon tea, Fashionista, is inspired by the themes and colours of the fashion world. The menu is transformed every six months to follow the changing seasons in fashion.


The Prêt-à-Portea collection takes inspiration from an array of distinguished fashion designers including Fendi, Molly Goddard and Moschino. Held in the beautiful Collins Room, afternoon tea at the Berkeley is an absolute must!

The Berkeley Tea Sandwiches

Roast corn fed chicken, truffle cream, braised leeks & parmasan on sourdough bread
Peppered pastrami with mustard celeriac remoulade, Montgomery cheddar, wild rocket on onion bread
Home smoked salmon, horseradish, capers, beef tomato & pickled shallots on dark rye bread
Hickory smoked duck & egg mayonnaise, mustard cress on white bread
Baked heritage beetroot with aromatic peppered goats cheese, pickled walnuts, French sorrel on tomato bread

Miso scented Madeline, whipped chive cream, treat roe, gold leaf
Truffle baked new potatoes, wild mushrooms, blackberries, soubise veloute, and watercress

Cakes and Biscuits

The striking yellow Fendi raincoat sable is finished with royal icing
Moschino, inspired by American game shows, presents a velvet pistachio delice with a crumble base, topped with a sugared one million dollar bill
Emila Wickstead’s red croustillon covered choux bun is filled with Gianduja cremeux and roasted macadamia nuts, finished with whipped ganache, chocolate disks and a sugar bow
Making her Pret-a-Portea debut, Molly Goddard’s evening gown is a cinnamon finacier filled with a Pink Lady apple mouse, wrapped in neon pink spun sugar and glitter
The iconic Jaquemus ‘Le Micro Chiquito’ blackurrant & almond handbag is made lifesize and finished with a Cassis Mirroire glaze
The Sharing Cake – Richard Quinn white chocolate and framboise mousse with a pecan chocolate brownie base, topped with wafer legs and a sugar bow
The October Tastemaker- Schiaparelli gown worn by Erin O’Connor whilst pregnant, is a red plum mousse set on Emmanuel sponge topped with tiered light ombre meringue
